Employee Spotlight: Copper Cow Team Holiday Favorites
Need some inspiration to get you into the holiday spirit? We chatted with a few members of our Copper Cow Coffee team to get their favorite festive songs, recipes, traditions, and of course, coffee orders!

What’s your favorite holiday song? :
When I hear "It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas" I know the holidays are here! But I also can't stop listening to "Last Christmas" by Wham!
What’s your favorite CCC coffee & creamer combo during the holidays?
Has to be our Churro coffee with Mocha creamer - such a treat!
What’re you listening to, watching, or reading during the holidays?
I always watch "A Very Murray Christmas" on a cold, cozy night. I love the music and cameos - it has the nostalgic feel of an old TV holiday special.
What’re you cooking during the holidays?
Every year my dad makes DOZENS of holiday cookies for friends and family, which are an added, sweet reason to come home for the holidays.
Do you have any holiday traditions?
Whenever possible, my family takes a group photo in our comfy holiday clothes. It means a lot to be able to look back years later and see how kids have grown and remember that year.

What’re you listening to, watching, or reading during the holidays?
The Nightmare before Xmas is a must! I also love Gremlins and will usually try and find a local theater that is playing it. Then in true millennial fashion, I will usually sneak in a Harry Potter movie or two.
What’re you cooking during the holidays?
Honestly...nothing lol. I buy catering for the big events and tend to treat myself to baked goods. I actually loathe holiday cooking. SORRY.
Do you have any holiday traditions?
Since I travel a lot in Dec, the tree goes up the day after Halloween to maximize the xmas cheer 🙂. Weekend trips to Solvang CA have also become more of a tradition for me, my husband, and our dogs. It's basically a Hallmark movie set!

Just started watching "Watch Out for the Big Grrrls" and now I am exclusively listening to Lizzo. I adore her.
What’re you cooking during the holidays?
Soup game is hot right now. Just made a bunch of chicken stock to be the base of my winter cooking. This weekend I made a coconut curry that was delicious and easy.

What’s your favorite holiday song? :
While I’m not big on traditional holiday music, I do love playing Sufjan Steven’s album Songs for Christmas every year. I enjoy his folksy renditions of the classics and in particular his original “Sister Winter”.
What’s your favorite CCC coffee & creamer combo during the holidays?
I’m an iced coffee drinker for all seasons, so it would have to be our Peppermint coffee made as a cold brew with our classic Latte Creamer. I’ll add a healthy dollop of whipped cream as an added treat!
What’re you listening to, watching, or reading during the holidays?
As a playlist-making fiend, I’ve been listening to a recap of my favorite releases from the past year. I’ve also been reading Desert Oracle by Ken Layne as someone endlessly fascinated by the mythos of the desert.
What’re you cooking during the holidays?
As a personal tradition stemming from my Florida upbringing (and because I’m a much better baker than chef), I love making a Key Lime pie every holiday season.
Do you have any holiday traditions?
Aside from making Key Lime pies, a recent tradition is to go on a Christmas Day hike on the trails around Los Angeles. Such a great way to work off all those very filling holidays meals!
