Galaxy's Edge Cold Brew Black Caf
It's May the Fourth, and you know what that means...your morning cup of coffee (or should we say "caf?") deserves a Star Wars style power-up with enough energy to fuel the Millenium Falcon.
If you've been to Disneyland or Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you may have tried their delicious Cold Brew Black Caf -- cold brew topped with a cream cheese foam and cocoa puffs. Since we're into real ingredient upgrades, we gave this beloved bev our own *Java* The Hutt approved twist.
Cold Brew Black Caf Ingredients
- 2 Copper Cow Classic Black Coffee Pour-Over Filters - unopened
- 1 Copper Cow Classic Creamer
- 2 oz whipped cream cheese or mascarpone cheese
- 2-4 tbsp milk of choice
- Ice
- Real ingredient chocolate cereal such as Magic Spoon Cocoa, Cascadian Farm Organic Cocoa Crispy Rice, Annie's Cocoa Bunnies, or Nature's Path Choco Chimps
Instructions
Step 1
1 day before you want to enjoy your Cold Brew Black Caf, prepare the cold brew coffee by filling a 16-20 oz jar with cold water and adding two unopened Copper Cow pour-over filters. Cover with lid and place in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 8 hours).
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together Classic Creamer, cream cheese, and 2 tbsp milk. Any electric whisk/frother can be helpful here. Add more milk if needed to create a thick, foamy consistency.
Step 3
Add ice and cold brew to a glass. Top with your cream cheese foam and chocolate cereal. Sip and enjoy!
