Coffee Rubbed Chicken Wings Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds of chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 2 tbsp Copper Cow Classic Ground Coffee

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Pat wings dry. Mix all dry ingredients well in a large bowl. Stir in vinegar to form a paste. Add wings to bowl, tossing and rubbing wings until chicken is all well-coated.

Step 2

Optional: If desired, lay coated wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet and place uncovered in the fridge for several hours to get an even crispier wing. You can also cook right away without dry brining.

When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer or  oven to 400 degrees. Arrange wings in a single layer on a wire rack over a sheet pan, or in a single layer in your air fryer. Work in batches if needed.

Step 3

Cook wings 10-15 minutes, flip, then cook an additional 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
